Wow. Justin and I got onto the front page of the Washington Examiner with this little opinion piece that we co-wrote. Actually, Justin wrote it. I came up with the space worm idea. But I got in the by-line, which means I am now a published opinion writer. I'm very proud of this article. It's just five jokes, but they also have solid insights about the direction that this franchise seems to be moving. Make no mistake, I'll see every single thing they make in theaters. Take my money. I don't want it. Can't buy me love.
I just finished two portraits of these two kids. Watercolor is the trickiest medium for me and I'm very happy with these results. See, unlike acrylic or oils you can't lighten things up. You start with a white paper and you can only get it darker. These were my second attempt. Definitely worth re-doing.

This video shows the effects of rubbing alcohol when squirted onto receipt paper. I composed the music in Logic, and added an additional guitar track. The animation was made from three minute-long videos of rubbing alcohol drying on receipt paper, and edited into a light show using After Effects.
