Recently I had the opportunity to help produce a reading of the executive summaries of the Mueller Report for KVRU, which is a community radio station in South Seattle. I was given the chance to record and edit Volume 2 of the executive summaries in the studio at KVRU, which was read by former Mayor of Seattle Michael McGinn. We just posted this little radio show as a podcast so you can listen too! I also happened to design the cover art. :)

I just made a little animated music video in collaboration with the very talented Brian Callahan. This is a hypnotic and uneasy song. I tried to make visuals that would compliment the slow and melancholic pulse of the song's three movements. The visuals are inspired by Terry Gilliam of Monty Python and George Dunning, who animated Eleanor Rigby in Yellow Submarine (1968). Brian and I hope to make more videos in the coming months where I will conduct further experiments with animated collages.
I got to meet these two in person at a dog park. It's rare that I get a chance to take my own reference photos, and I'm so glad I had the opportunity. Meeting them in person gave me a chance to understand their personalities and helped me make more authentic portraits. I think these may be two of my best dog portraits yet!
Here’s my portrait of Norman Borlaug, who helped develop high-yielding varieties of wheat and modern agricultural production in the 60s. Father of the Green Revolution, he is estimated to have saved a billion people who would otherwise have starved to death.
